This is a satire on the cover to Detective #71 (with the Joker and Batman & Robin) measuring approximately 14 inches by 19 inches. The piece was auctioned at the 7th Annual National Meeting of the American Association of Comicbook Collectors. Their Hall of Fame honoree this year was Jerry Robinson, creator of the Joker and famed Batman artist. 1999 is the 60th anniversary of Batman.
